Tinnitus Support Group
It is estimated that Tinnitus effects 250 million people worldwide, with over 6 million estimated to suffer in the UK. If you are suffering from tinnitus you are not alone.
The Marlow Support Group is run by Chris Zaremba who is also a Tinnitus UK volunteer. The group which is a Gold Standard support group meets on the third 
Tuesday of alternate months from January.
Gold Standard awarded
The Gold Standard is an award to recognise groups that give the best support possible to their local tinnitus community. A Gold Standard group must meet the following criteria:
- Follow the Tinnitus UK Code of Ethics for Tinnitus Support Groups
- Pass on up to date group details on to the Tinnitus UK Support Group Team
- At least one group leader to have accessed our training
- Attend or organise at least one awareness raising/fundraising event per year
- Up to date Tinnitus UK leaflets to be made available at every meeting
- At least one person, other than the group leader themselves, to take on a role to help the group (one role must be a Meeter and Greeter)
