Hearing about new products, listening to experiences
Hearing Clinic Open Day at Farnham Common
We had a very successful hearing clinic open day at our Farnham Common clinic at the end of last week. We were delighted that one of our clients, Jacqui Hames, of Crimewatch and Sky TV, agreed to come along and talk to our clients about her experience of hearing loss and how she overcame it with Phonak hearing aids from Help in Hearing.
Watch a short video (54 seconds) of Jacqui Hames talking about her experience of hearing loss:
We were also lucky to have Stuart Neilson, managing director, and Tania Rodrigues, Lyric business manager at Phonak UK, who talked about the latest Lyric hearing aids, the Lyric3, a completely invisible hearing aid which can be worn 24/7 for months at a time. The Lyric3 has been dubbed “the contact lens of the ear.”
At the open day, which was attended by about 20 people, several existing and new clients had hearing examinations and consultations and talked about their hearing loss experiences.
We were also very pleased that Phonak International has chosen us to be the only provider in the area of the new Lyric3 hearing aids. Just 30 hearing specialists have been chosen in the UK as having the correctly trained hearing professionals with the expertise and ability to provide advice, determine hearing aid requirements and to provide a full aftercare service.
As well as that, we are one of only 12 elite hearing consultants in the UK to be awarded “Hearing Consultant Approved Site Accreditation.” This follows a two-month audit process, carried out by Consultant Approved Site (CAS) Auditor, Robert Rendell, Clinical Scientist. The accreditation sets a standard for customer care and audiology expertise to ensure that customers understand the level of care they will be receiving.
